Family Care with Every Job since 1988

Troy Peavler began his dream in 1988 when he borrowed his grandfather’s cattle truck to make his first move.  He soon realized Harrodsburg and surrounding counties needed a full time mover with appropriate equipment.  His grandfather loaned him money to buy his first truck.  Linda, Troy’s mother took phone calls and scheduled moves from their home.

In 1990 Troy built his first storage building at 255 Morris Dr. to complement the moving business .  In 1991 Troy married his fiancée Julie and she took over manning the phone calls at their new home and at a temporary office.  Soon they built 2nd and 3rd storage buildings to meet the demand of the moving business.  The volume of the business had increased greatly and it was time to have an onsite office with full time hours.  An office was constructed in the front of one of the storage buildings.

Through the years the reputation of the business grew and needed more than one truck to accommodate the number of people moving.  To keep the personal service that the customers were used to, Troy’s father Tommy and his brother, Eric came into the business to each man a truck.  Tommy has now stepped back to do more estimates and Troy & Eric’s sons are all working in the business.   The storage business has grown along with the moving to keep up with the needs of the customers.  We now have 2 locations in Harrodsburg and a new location in Danville, KY.  All locations offer a variety of sizes in regular and climate controlled units.   Today it is still truly a family operation with Linda scheduling the moves and Troy, Eric & sons personally on a moving crew.
